Brandon Wiggins holds degrees in botany, horticulture, and business administration. She is the GM, CEO, and CVO of Vision Plantscaping Inc., a large landscape design and contracting business in Carmel, California. Throughout her career Brandon has won academic, business, and congressional awards.
Brandon is the author of the PURSUIT series of “Indiana Jane” style action/adventure novels. Much of the factual material in these novels comes directly from Science News, Discover, and Scientific American publications, National Public Radio, as well as her daily studies of the natural and physical sciences.
PURSUIT goes well beyond the conventional adventure story. Throughout her heroine’s rollicking, often humorous escapades, Brandon Wiggins weaves provocative and timely observations on women’s roles in the world’s power structure, the imbalance between our obsession with consumption and the well-being of our planet, and the correlation of our shared human condition with all inhabitants of the natural world.
Brandon dabbles in oil painting and each book in the Pursuit series has a hand painted, vibrantly colored cover. She pens and illustrates the novel cartoon strip, Flora Culture, an environmentally conscious animation.
Brandon has worked with Conservation International and the Monterey Bay Aquarium in efforts to raise community awareness in conservation.
Brandon, also known as “Brandy,” lives in Carmel Valley with her two teenage sons and C.C. Brown, a vivacious German Shorthaired Pointer.
